What was the highlight of Wiang Inn Hotel

Good place to spend a night or two for the money, but nothing special.

The location is pretty good, close to the centre and the market. Breakfast was ok as well.

The hotel itself is a bit tired and would appreciate some renovation. Sound insulation between rooms was also so-so.

Breakfast was great! Lots of charging points in the room.

Room was a little smaller than expected. Light switches were a little confusing. Tried to save resources and took card out of the slot but had trouble getting lights and aircon to work again after that.

Accommodation with good location and friendly staff

The location is very good and the Bus Terminal can be reached within 3 walking minutes. We liked the friendly atmosphere from the staff and the breakfast was delicious. The breakfast had vegetables, croissants, muesli, scrambled eggs and sausages like European breakfast.

The power outlets didn’t work properly. The building and facilities were old.

Very good position

The position is excellent, near to the bus terminal and to the night Bazar but at the same time not so close to be disturbing or noisy. The staff was kind but it seemed to me they're not prepared to give advices and indications. The suggested us to reach the white Temple by taxy (pretty expensive) when there is a bus that takes you there and leaves 3 minutes walking from the hotel. Room was clean and comfy with a big new flat screen TV where we were able to use an USB with movies.

The hotel was ideally located near to the city centre, the night market and the bus station. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent also. I find it difficult to find fault.

Enough minor problems to spoil what could easily have been a pleasant experience.

Proximity to bus station and markets.

Used minibar items not replenished. Breakfast foods random and unhealthy. Construction noise from adjacent room. No top bed sheet - just duna, so either too hot or too cold. Significant overquoting for tours. Cord for electric kettle too short to reach up to PowerPoint. All lights including both bedside lights controlled from button on one side of bed. So no way for person on other side to turn light on during the night.

Location was just right.

The strange arrangement for drinks separated from the food area, including a great coffee maker that never was used. Not easy to figure you could utilize this area if you bought drinks. There three nights and really saw no-one use this or enjoy drinks... when asked to purchase alcohol to sit in this area, I didn’t try to ask for fresh coffee and went out on street to coffee shop.

Good location.

The location is quite good, just a few minutes (walking) from the bus terminal and night bazaar.

We were distracted by the noise of neighbors in the evenings and early mornings. Sound-proof of room is not quite good.

Adequate but no more than that.

The coffee was too strong and there wasn't hot water to tone it down. The tea was weak with 2 bags in a large pot. Someone needs to wipe the tables in the foyer daily as the glass marks were there the 4 days stay. Wifi was difficult to connect, kept dropping out. They need to put relays in as you had to move about the room to stay connected. It was even difficult to keep a connection in the foyer. The bathrooms are tired and need to be regrouted-mould is not a good look. Location is excellent!

Great Hotel in Central Chiang Rai

The breakfast always had bacon and many many other selections. The bed was soft as a cloud. The location is perfect for going to the Night Market, or walking around town, or getting a massage, or finding a cozy restaurant/bar. The staff all seemed to speak English. The rooms were always clean. Had a great few nights here.

The towels were a bit old. The elevators were a bit old. But really this stuff was super minor. I really liked the place.
